"I'd Like to Thank......"

A few weeks ago I was given my very first blog award by the ever so lovely Nicole at Nicole Needles, You must go to her site and see her beautiful vintage creations they are stunning!!!

I was really thrilled!  It has however taken me a while to get around to posting this, as I have tried to pick blogger's who have not already received this award - which is hard as your all so popular!
I know that for some people this is not their cup of tea shall we say, so there is no obligations to forward it on if you don't want to, Its just a way for me to let you know how much I love your blogs and admire your work!!

Now the conditions that come along with this award are (if you choose to accept them):
1. Accept the award. Post it on your blog along with the name of the person who awarded it along with a link to their blog.
2. Pay it forward to 15 other bloggers that you have recently discovered.
3. Contact those bloggers and let them know they've been chosen.
The winners are in no particular order are:

  2. thank you for the kind words you left on my blog, what a positively splendid honour you have bestowed upon me! :-)

i like your blog too, for the reason that i am attracted to anything of culture and history that predates 1945. i believe before this, countries were more isolated and so there was less outside influence which led to everything being more unique and interesting. nowadays, everythng has become diluted. for me, the 1920s and 30s were period of great change and innovation. i would love to have lived back then. what a beautiful time to have experienced but also one full of fear and sadness.

sorry for standing on my soap box! i think i need to catch a bus to speakers corner :-)

    thank you once again.

I've only just worked out what this lovely blog award thing is all about! Sorry for being so slow to understand, I just thought it was a very sweet comment of yours saying my blog was lovely, I didn't realise it was an actual pass-it-along award as such! Doh!

Thank you for thinking of me, I very much appreciate it!
